The Importance of Naming in Programming

Roxanne Jones: The fact that we had functional React components, albeit they were very useless. And I guess this comes back to like the whole functional programming discussion of like, well, is functional programming even useful? Like we do have to manage state at a certain level and Elm is a great example. But every time you get new state, we're going to have a pure function that takes the entire internal state from your app and renders something deterministically to the screen. So again, I'm not, I don't use Elm but I think it's interesting.
