Alice met Thaddeus Cornelius Grumblin for the first time. He was dressed in a perfectly tailored suit, crisp white-colored shirt, and a green bow tie. Draped around his shoulders was a dramatic cape, black on the outside, but velvet and green on the inside. Alice asked him what he had been doing just before the beanstalk grew through your house.
