The Importance of Understanding the Language of Malcolm X

Alex Haley is most well known for being the author of Roots. The epilogue of this book the autobiography of Malcolm X was really interesting and that of course is written by Alex Haley. Some of those some of the language as we read these quotes and so on that language is in the book it's something that we shouldn't shy away from. We're going to try to give us unvarnished a look at this as possible however as as two men who are not in who are not black we will avoid vocalizing a particular word that typically in the mouth of non-black speakers carries a racial slur.
