There's really four broad gories of tools. The first one that a lot of people think of is just whatever they think of when they think of automating anything, which us lets jus go rihte a bunch of scripts. So usually athawk scripts end at being a little bit of a mess. Next category up from that are configuration management tools. And so these are custom tools for managing intra structure.
