"I just tend to work the hardest and be the most fulfilled when I feel like I'm the one pushing, you know, the work forward as opposed to being pulled by external requirements that are placed on me," he says. "We're now indie. We're outside of Stripe. Obviously we don't make any money. So we have to make money ... And we also have incentive to because this guy's on it." He continues: "Such people expect we're going to be building in public. We'reGoing to be transparent. We're going to share what the hell we're doing and how much money we make"
