Insurgency sandstorm is the, i think, the sequel to insurgency. hell let loose seems to have been the one that has grabbed more people than games like verdon have. There are a nested series of communications that the game is not interested in making any more transparent or easy for people to handle. It is a crunchy, realistic, calm system for warfare. And that seems to be a big pillar of the design.
