Marx and Engels - The Manifesto

The manifesto was written by Marx and Engels in 1848 during the height of Europe's revolution. It was designed to be a statement of general politics that then became aspirationally at least an intervention into an actually existing revolutionary situation. By the time it was published however, the trajectory of the revolution is fairly clear so this incredibly urgent document emerges into a landscape of political ruin for the left for many years.
