The Power of Hope in Dialectical Behavior Therapy

In the book, I talk about hope as a skill, which is not a new concept. How do you bring yourself out of the cynicism? Not that you're going to be there every day, right? Like I'm hopeless all the time, right? You know, it's like mindfulness where you can put your attention there and then try and come back. And I think that's why this type of work, I think is so powerful and it's a place where mental health professionals are putting ourselves out on social media and doing all this work.
