Hungboo and the Gourd Seed

Hungboo would rather have the life he did, struggling to get by with people who loved him, than be rich and angry at the world. Still, hungboo liked to help when he could. For instance, he found a swallow on the road with a broken leg. He wrapped a string around its leg braceg it on the stick and rubbed ointment on the leg so it would heal. A similar looking bird flew by and dropped a gourd seed. Hungboo knew that there was something special about the seed when it sprouted a day later. The family looked at them all right, they guessed they should cut into them. They chopped into the first one
