The ego feels very insurmountable it's like as long as we're stuck in these bodies we are going to be plagued with the ego. Jesus was able to shed his ego to prove to us that it can be done and also to demonstrate what we're going to do in the end for ourselves but yeah I mean when we're thinking about those those spiritual gifts that you've just mentioned the experience of vision, the revelatory experience of God in meditation and guidance of hearing the Holy Spirit and being healed and unified within ourselves they seem great but we can't touch them so patience is required.
