The Story Only You Can Tell

Mr. Morgan says he wants us to write a story that only we can tell. I feel myself seething, but none of the other kids look bothered by this. This is much better than writing some kind of literary analysis or something. A voice whispers in my head: I will never grow strong enough to hurt him. And it makes me suddenly unbelievably sad.
