The Hidden Addiction of Problem Gambling
We don't have a great understanding and definition of problem gambling except for the very extreme end. It's more than just one criteria or one feature. Individuals can often tell themselves if they have a problem but there's a huge problem with denial that, oh it's not really a problem or if I just win then it won't be a problem. The other thing about gambling is it's often called the hidden addiction because it's unlike alcohol or substances. When you go home that you could see someone's visibly intoxicated, there's no way to know if someone's been gambling.
