Within that practised direction, there are general principles. Children may suffer direct physical, psychological and or tional harm from living with domestic abuse,. They may also suffer harm indirectly, where the domestic abuse impairs the parent incapacity of either or both of their parents. The guidance effectively provides for these issues to be identified at an early opportunity within the proceedings.
