Yarvin claims that there is a direct line from today's progressives back to the pure attention of the 17th century. He calls this universalism, apparently unaware that has a specific meaning in Christian eschatology having nothing to do with a progressive program. Yarvin: Progressives are the heirs of the Enlightenment and the French Revolution, which are both strongly anti-Christian.
