The Poetry of Violence and Prejudice

I was noticing that one of the blurbs for this book says about the poems that they have a fierce lyricism. Ollie, respond in any way you like, including possibly answering or responding to the question I'm about to ask you. Would we, following from Tim's experience in the classroom, would we know what happened in each of these scenes of violence or prejudice without the prose note? You know, that's a really interesting question. For me, I find that if I really ask myself to concentrate on the lyric, I can make a guess as to what might have happened here.
