Is There a Social Mixing in the Public Square?
These magazines, they were mainly geared towards a middleass middle upper class readership. Popular classes also had access to these images in different ways. Illustrator was trying to give readers an image of the city of the square in one single glance. But at the same time, there was debate about the expansion that we talked about earlier. There were certain organization projects meant to empty the central areas like portas and qarters. And despite this, many people continued to walk through the square.
