Dean Lomax's Big Discovery in 2021
Dean Lomax was inspired by Mary Anning's discovery of the first ichthyosaur fossils. In 2021, he received an email with images of dinner plate-sized vertebrae from a new fossil site in Britain. He and fellow marine reptile expert Dr. Mark Evans were blown away when they discovered what appeared to be a gigantic skeleton. They had to rebury it after waiting for millions of years due to damp conditions at the time.
