What Is the Value of a Canon?
Saoirse: Why is it a holy book? Saoirse: One of the functions of a canon is to provide a basis for common conversation. We have this book of inspired discourse, and it creates the basis for our inner actions. Wright brigham young said, some parts were written by man, some by angels and some by the devil. And so we take off our shoes and treat the whole mount with reverence.
