Clive and Ryan Bundy's Defiance of the Federal Government

Clive and Ryan Bundy didn't recognize the authority of the federal government for 20 years. The BLM warned it would seize his cattle if he didn't pay up, but was afraid of bloodshed. On April 5th, while agents kept a watchful eye on the Bundy's, the roundup began. They wanted all Patriot militias who could manage to come to the ranch to take a stand against the US government.
