The Commodity Is Like Money in a Certain Way
You can't be a philosopher without a cafe, at least not since the turn of the 20th century. Starbucks hasn't done anything to increase the number of philosophers in the U.S., so I'll have to rethink that thesis. The spectacle is money one can only look at, because in it, all use has already been exchanged for the totality of abstract representation. "The spectacle is not just a servant of pseudo use.
