Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has really stepped up onto the world stage. He made a surprise visit to Kiev, met with Vladimir Zelensky and then dropped in on India's PM Mahendra Modi. Many Chinese analysts say he tries to win support from Europe for his hawkish stance against China. But there is not much China can do as many of its neighbors are showing signs of edging closer to the US.
