The Mayor's Mansion and the Children's Ball

The children flocked to the mayor's mansion when christmas eve came. They chose their own costumes according to their own fancies and this new customer had charming costumes to suit them. Whether it was owing to the costumers are or their own adaptation to the characters they had chosen is a matter of debate. The poor children jumped eagerly at the chance of being princesses or fairies for a few hours in their miserable lives.
