The Effect of Protest Songs on the World
The day of the protest song as an active way of changing things is probably best, says Neil Young. The great thing about those days was everybody listened to the radio so if you get a message out there, it got to a lot of people. And that no longer happened. So protest songs now are like fodder for media. They have a blog about what it means.
