When I pick the feeling or I'm honing in on the feeling that I want to express, it's like a primal thing. My therapist taught me this. At the bottom of all of my feelings are fear. Or I'm really angry at you because I'm scared that I'm going to be unsafe. And then the scaredness is fear. It can trace all the way back down to fear. Almost 100% of the time for me. So hone in on where the feeling is coming from and what might relate to my reader.
