"I see so many people professionally and personally, they feel lost in life," he says. "What is the purpose of this? And I think that can be a fluid thing." Having kids as a means of giving yourself purpose can also mean you are just transferring that existential weight onto your kids,. A lot of parents put all their expectations on their child before it's even born.
