How to Deal With Emotional Eating

A low key part to a food journal is tracking and noting down the reasons why you ate. A lot of times with emotional eating, it does come from childhood trauma. It comes from the things that you have experienced as a kid. This is especially true if you deal with stress eating or emotional eating. The way I dealt with bullying was going to my fridge and opening up the fridge at like at nighttime when everyone was asleep and eating anything I could inside the fridge in order to deal with my emotions. That is an example of introspecting enough to find out where exactly did this behavior come from.
