Theraban Resistance for Pain Free Grip

I usually try and start them with a light Theraban resistance that gives them at about something around the 50% of their maximal effort. And then what I do is if they're pain free in that position, I'll then get them to move into pronation first. So it's only three times maximum one minute holds to begin with. Now you need to time it and if they can only get to 30 seconds before their pain starts, then that's where we stop. Often what happens is you know, the patient will be okay for sort of one or two repetitions but then the second repetition or less becomes more discomfort. That's where I end up having to pull them back out again
