How to Increase Stock of Affordable Housing in India?
India has a lot of liquid rental markets, but the problem is the housing supply is rigid. India needs a central data base for house prices - this is what is missing. There's a huge difference between the market prices and the circle rates that we have and we have the transaction prices. We really do not have a spectrum where i, as an individual consumer or researcher, can track housing markets.
