But just because the general outline of the disease remained the same, that doesn't mean that the way it was perceived ed also was unchanged. i think reading through them, as well as other people's accounts of their experiences with m s in the late 18 hundreds and early 19 hundreds, helps us to better consider this disease through the lens of history.
