The Old Testament Is Not One Book, Right?
The old testament is deeply problematic in a number of ways. There isn't one presiding editor and we know virtually nothing about its authorship. Even the book of mormon isn't one book, right? Mormon's editorial work and nephis small plates are two voices that dominate. And so we have to stop and desist from this effort to try to make everything kind of cohere in a simple, straightforward way.
