Are We Going to Leave a Legacy of Robust Christian Faith?
The husband is responsible for the physical safety of his family within reason and under the providential rule of God. He needs to be within reason, I'm not saying obsessively. This is actually one of his duties. The Lord made him a dangerous man who's self controlled so he can protect his family. That means he shouldn't just be a huge fat slob who couldn't defend the family from an old grandmother. His wife will fill that like God designed her to be led.
