The Importance of Learning to Pronounce English Correctly
Jackie: I think people use the accent stuff as just an excuse for not pronouncing English properly. But when you do it, then you create the reality that you want to have as your future self. There is also a non-native accent or foreign accent, which is what we think about when we think about an accent. So ultimately an accent is an accent. As soon as you know a language, you have an accent.
