What Is a Game?
i looked at lots of different definitions that a different philosophers s and designers have put together. And what i ended up arriving at is that a game is a problem solving activity approached with a playful attitude. The idea that all games are problem solving activities isn't immediately obvious, but it's definitely true. But not all problems can be solved in the same way. So approaching things with ha playful attitude, with the spirit of curiosity, is part of what makes games play special.
