The Goddess of the Universe in the Indo-European System

Every major goddess in the older tradition, in the Bronze Age tradition, was an inflection of that total goddess. This is a royal motif and then seven of pigtails, female figures along the base. That's a quite explicit representation. And many of the Greek goddesses were of that origin. When the Indo-European gods come in, their consorts are aspects of their power. They are really Shakti figures of the gods.
