AI and the Future of TV

Chat GPT can think of episode ideas for popular TV shows. This means studios may be able to use AI to generate new shows and episodes. Instead of hiring a writer or buying an idea from a writer, they just need to hire that writer to finish the script and revise what the AI has already created. The Writers Union is trying to negotiate for deals to include provisions for the use and limitations of AI. And while it is not better than human writers today, it may be in the future.
