I have zero idea about this one. Are there little mom and pop oil producers that are competing against Exxon? Is that just a tiny little fraction of the oil that's being produced by small oil producers? I don't know what the portion of independent oil and gas producers is, but I'd say they're shrinking because that's how the industry works. Do you think there's a decent chance in 2050 there's going to be more sanity and they're not going to be heavily subsidizing these? Oh my gosh, I do hope so.
