The biggest sign is basically the home court advantage and that is a manipulative individual may insist that you meet and interact in a physical space where they can exercise more dominance and control. Many people will manipulate the facts. Some individuals enjoy intellectual bullying by presuming to be an expert in the most knowledgeable certain areas. People use bureaucracy like paperwork, procedures, laws and bylaws, committees and other roadblocks to maintain their position and power.
