The Importance of Omega-3s in the Brain

There are some fats that we need because our body can't make them on their own. omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids have to do with where how the particular molecule of fat is configured. We need to consume both in a ratio of about 4 to 1 omega-6 to omega-3. The challenge for this without spending another hour doing a physiology lecture which you probably don't want to hear anyway, is how those fatty acids are utilized by the brain.
