The gatekeepers in traditional art worlds are what keeps the supply scarce at least a supply that's meaningful. It's much harder to understand the sort of signals around what's good or bad about NFTs. Christie's is doing this now they're auctioning off NFTs and they're sort of acting as a credential. The name brand NFTs probably have good long term potential right now but who knows?
