The corporate tax is one of the more effective things we do that cause them to pay their fair share, or at least more towards their fair share. The big advantage of taxing equity rather than debt is difficult for individuals and an hirolobia can hire a lobby on your behalf. To save it, what you're proposing to do is make the greatest gift to corporate lobbyists in the history of the planet. So i'm all eaers, but i would want to hear the vilable proposal that would replace the corporate tax. And i think it a where our politics are excessively captured by the wealthy, to argue against the corporate tax will not work.
