How Can Artistic People Contribute to American Capitalism?

The right to grow up also includes the right to screw up. For artistic and other disabled people, every bad decision becomes a referendum on your right to live independently. Artistic people's use of these services is no more a measure of their incompleteness as humans than people who use wheel chairs are failures because they cannot walk. Despite jokes about adulting, nobody will force my narrow typical friends to move back in with their parents if they forget to do their laundry. If they need a nanny to care for their kids, a maid to clean their house, or a gig worker to do daily tasks, they won't be seen as incomplete humans.
