The Importance of a Core Portfolio
You probably need for a core portfolio, maybe five to 10 ETFs. And the only things that I would add in there is where you can do something else. There's no like one answer to rule them all. We were chatting to a guy called Todd Barlow, who runs Washington H. Soul Pattinson - it's like an Australia's version of Warren Buffett. He said we have an all-in cost of around 0.3%, which is very low and lower than manyETFs. By making that one investment, you actually get exposure to companies that aren't on the stock exchange. So private companies, you get exposure to a whole range of different things in one company.
