This is working really hard at the thing that you're not supposed to be doing. A sympathetic arousal state will get misdiagnosed as ADHD, but always talk to your doctor first and I'm not here to diagnose you. You can't take a deep breath and calm yourself down when you're stuck on up. Your brain wants to go and run and get the hell away from whatever it thinks is happening. This seems way harder. What do you do to get out of this? It's called productive procrastination.
