The Importance of Promises

When David has one of the best namesake things ever and the most probably the most famous song of all time, you know, in Psalm 23, David's David says he, the Lord, leads me in paths of righteousness for his namesake. The God here says I'm going to save my people for my namesake and for the sake of my servant David who also knows that I do these things because I'm a promise keeping God. This is actually the best when this happens. What you want God to intervene in your life for his own, for his namesake more than for anything else as if it was dependent on you.
