The Importance of White Politics
I'll never forget your speech up in Napa on that issue. It wasn't in Iowa, but it was about the Iowa problem. Every presidential candidate goes to Iowa and supports agriculture subsidies. We have the same thing in California with Nevada-Valley subsidies. And now, Napa-Valley, alone among all the northern counties, is fairly conservative because of that speech.
