I was such a poor kid. Literally, I made like $8,000 a year or something. It was just like really stripped down living. But thankfully the junior college that I went to, one of my teachers, my mentor at the time, Chris Poland, he was a teacher on the weekends at art center. And so he taught this class where you would write a, not write like a script for a movie, but he would teach you how to outline one and in the final, you actually had to pitch it to real movie executives.
