The Principle of Celebrating When You've Been Proved Wrong
Dawkins: It should be something you celebrate when someone points out a flaw in your reasoning or who you are, what you believe. He says it's more damaging to the ego to perpetuate something you now know not to be true. But that would suggest to me that if you're in an argument and you never want to be proven wrong then you're arguing for the wrong reasons.
