Human actions are now releasing nine point four billion metric tons of carbon to the atmosphere. But half of that is being taken up through a process we know as carbon sequestration. The health of the soil system is extremely important part of addressing the climate crisis. We treat soil literally like dirt, even though soil has actually been making our lives possible.
