It's important to understand this concept of comorbidity, meaning that if you have one nerlogic disorder, their likelihood that you will have thers. For example, if your fourth grader who has a d h d is struggling in school with reading or writing eother aspects of learning, and you think about it and realize that he or she had the same problems in third grade and second grade and first grade,. That is its chronic and that it's pervasive. Then you have to start looking for another issue, which might be a learning disability. And again, it would not be chronic or pevasive, but would start at a certain time or occur in a certain circumstance.
