But there is things that institutions can do to shield a research from the worst of the abuse. And it's just very important to tell people likea, don't suffer this abuse on your own. Also put up a scinte media sent guide on dealing with harassment which is very useful.

Hundreds of scientists have responded to a survey asking about harassment and abuse during the pandemic. The results paint a picture which is as concerning as it is shocking.
